4 December Delhi to Jaipur
A long day of
driving today. Probably six hours plus some time for lunch. Among
things sighted today were: elephants, camel carts, sheep, goats,
shoats and geep, Rajasthani men in dhoti, kurta, koti and turban,
three truck accidents, amazing bright colours in the saris, trucks
decorated with garlands and flowers, etc

We then walked to the centre square to the spice market where some of our mob bought spices and saffron. Next, on to a small lassi joint where we drank lassi in earthenware cups which we later smashed in a bin outside the shop. Much of the market we walked through was dedicated to garlands of flowers for Hindu worship.
